Birthplace could be Juorkuna instead of Jurhuna or Jurkuna since hisfather was baptized in Juorkuna and I haven't found a town called Jurhunayet.
Oulun lääni means Oulu province.

Lassi and Lauri are Finnish; Lars is Swedish. Both are related toLaurence.

Anna and Lassi came to MN, USA, in 1888, bought a farm homestead, livedand died there. Lassi co-founded the town of Sebeka, MN.

According to _Pages of Time_ (1998), p. 250:
Lauri Wesala was among the first trustees of the Sebeka ApostolicLutheran Church, which was organized January 5, 1895.

Gravestone says Lauri Wesala; Am Grabstein steht Lauri Wesala.

According to Arlene in Belleville (e-mail 6 JAN 2002):
"Taivalkoski was a part of Pudasjarvi until about 1850 when it became itsown parish."

Came to USA in 1883.

According to _Pages of Time_ (1998), p. 575:
"... came to America in 1880. She lived in Michigan for eight years andin Rockwood Twp. for 62 years."

According to _Pages of Time_ (1998), p. 250:
Liisa Wesala was among the trustees of the Sebeka Apostolic LutheranChurch after it was torn down and rebuilt in 1939.

Admitted to Wesley Hospital, Wadena, MN, USA, for broken hip, thendeveloped pneumonia and died.
